Red Light Therapy
Restore. Repair. Re-energise.
Red Light Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses low-level red and near-infrared light wavelengths to support the body at a cellular level. By stimulating natural energy production within your cells, red light can help reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, relieve aches and pains, and promote healthier-looking skin.
At Sunset Salt Therapy, sessions are delivered using a comfortable full-body red light therapy mat, simply lie down, relax and let your body do the healing.
When red and near-infrared wavelengths are absorbed into the skin and tissues, they interact with mitochondria - the “powerhouses” of your cells. This boosts energy production, circulation and cellular repair processes.
This creates natural boost to recovery, calm and wellbeing.

You’ll lie down (fully or partially) on the red light therapy mat in a comfortable, relaxed environment. The mat’s LEDs will be switched on for a set time. You will feel a gentle heat (or very little), the effect is light energy, not like a hot sauna. The therapist will guide you how to position yourself and ensure you’re comfortable.

After the session, allow your skin to rest; you may resume normal activity.

Can I combine red light therapy with salt therapYes, one of the advantages of working with us is that we can tailor a combined wellness plan. For instance, pairing a red light mat session with your salt therapy session could enhance relaxation and overall benefit. We’ll discuss best sequencing (e.g., mat first then salt, or vice versa) during your consultation.

Wear something comfortable. Ideally clothing that allows exposure of the area being treated. If you’re lying full-body on the mat, simple shorts and a fitted top work well. Bring a water bottle optionally. We’ll provide towels or covers if needed.
If you wear a watch, jewellery or metallic accessories, you may be asked to remove them to avoid any interference with the light mat.
